In order to make a purchase on Crate Nordic, you need to provide us with the following details: Name, postal address, telephone number, and e-mail address.
We register this information only for the purpose of delivering your purchased items. Your personal information will be registered at Crate Nordic and kept for five years, whereupon they will be deleted.
We only collect personal data through our website with clear and explicit acceptance from you, and you will thus be fully informed about what exact data we collect and why.
Crate Nordic is the only party with access to the information registered about you.
Information registered on Crate Nordic will never be distributed or sold to any third party
On Crate Nordic, you can pay with the Visa Card and Mastercard.
You will not be charged with service fees when you shop at Crate Nordic.
Initially, the purchase amount will be reserved on your card. Only when your order is ready for delivery from the Maker, the money will be withdrawn. You will never be charged a larger amount than what you agreed to when you made the purchase. All prices on Crate Nordic include VAT and other tariffs. Prices are daily. When you shop on Crate Nordic, you need to accept a purchase agreement on either Danish or English.
You will receive a confirmation email when you make a purchase on Crate Nordic. You will receive your receipt electronically as soon as your order is packed and ready for delivery.
You need to pay for shipping in order to have your order delivered. Each Maker can set the shipping price individually for their shop and each product. This will be clearly visible before you accept the order. If nothing else is specified, the shipping fee is included in the total purchase amount when you buy at Crate Nordic.
Duration of delivery can last up to 30 days unless you and the Maker have agreed on something else.
When you have placed your order, you will receive information from the supplier about date of delivery and delivery method.
You have 14 days to cancel any orders except Customized orders. You need to notify Crate Nordic within this time limit.
Your cancellation rights expire within 14 days from the day you receive your goods or from the day you receive the last item, in case you have ordered several goods that are delivered individually.
Within 14 days from the day you receive your item, you should notify us about your intention to cancel your purchase. You should notify us on firstname.lastname@example.org and clearly inform us about your wish to cancel your order.
You can also use the standard cancelation formula and send it to us. It will be attached to your order confirmation or through this link.
When we have received your cancellation notification, we will provide you with the respectable supplier’s contact information, and then you can agree upon where to send the item.
You cannot cancel a purchase by rejecting the item when it is delivered, if you have not notified us in advance.
You need to return your item(s) to the Maker without unnecessary delay and no later than 14 days after you have received them.
You hold any additional expenditures pertaining to returning the goods (e.g. shipping). It is your responsibility that the goods are properly packed for transportation. You carry the risk for any damage that may occur during delivery.
Some items cannot be returned as normal post or package. This applies to furniture and larger items. The return expenditures for these items may exceed the costs for normal items, as they involve professional carriers. You are welcome to contact the respectable Maker to get information about return expenditures.
If you wish to cancel your purchase, we will refund the full amount you have paid*, including shipping (this does not apply if you have used a carrier or delivery method other than what we offer) without any unnecessary delay, and no later than 14 days after we have received your cancellation notification. When repaying, we will use the same means of payment as you used when you paid for the product, unless you explicitly request an alternative.
We are able to reserve the repayment until the Maker has received the returned item unless you, before that time, can provide us with reasonable documentation that proofs that you have shipped the item.
If you wish to cancel, remember to get a return address and notify us within 14 days from when you receive your goods.
You only bear the costs for any decline of the item’s value that is caused by use that is not necessary in order to assess the item and its value. You may “try” the item in the same ways as if you tried it in a physical store.
If the item has been put to use in any other way than this, and you wish to cancel and return the item, you are not entitled to full refund, if anything at all. The amount of repayment will be estimated on the basis of the item’s condition at the time it is returned.
In order to get the full reimbursement, you are only allowed to handle the product as you would in a physical store; you can test the product, but not take it into use.
The abovementioned policies do not apply to Customized goods! You cannot cancel you customized orders or get a refund.
Lack of conformity
You have the right to place a complaint about the product you have bought within 24 months. This means that if your item is not in conformity with what you were promised, you have the right to require remedy such as repairmen, reimbursement or exchange of the product, according to the situation.
Of course, it is a requirement that the complaint is entitled and that the lack of conformity is not caused by incorrect use of the item or other damaging behavior.
When should I make a complaint?
You need to make a complaint within “reasonable time” from when you receive the item. If you make a complaint within two months from the time the defect is discovered, the complaint will always be considered to be valid.
To whom should I make my complaint?
You need to notify us about your complaint, and we will contact the respectable Maker, who will participate in handling your complaint.
To whom should I return the item?
You should contact email@example.com in case of any complaints, and we will give you the contact information you need to return the item.
If the complaint is justified, your shipping expenditures will be reimbursed.
Cash On Delivery-packages or methods similar to this are not accepted.
Remember always to save the receipt for the shipping and to pack items correctly and suitable for transportation. You are responsible for any damage that may occur during transportation.
Any complaints about your purchase should be directed towards Crate Nordic. We will contact the Maker, who is responsible for your product and who will participate in handling your case.
If we are not able to agree upon a solution, you have the right to send your complaints to Forbrugerklagenævnet at www.forbruger.dk if the complaint is justified.
All contact should be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will strive to answer within 48 hours but it can take up to 5 days.
Crate Nordic is certified by the Danish E-Mark. When you shop at Crate Nordic, you can have you complaint handled by the Danish E-mark for free.
